  Saint Aidan's is a wonderfully uplifting church. We Love to hear the excellent, God and Christ channeled, sermons by Rector Les, because they inspire hope, no matter what your situation is. This is a great church for the individual, as well as the whole family.

  My wife and I received a letter from this church (shady marketing practice) asking us to pledge to them at least 10% of our income because they have failed to properly manage their money. Keep in mind we have never visited this church. They state 10% is the biblical standard. It's actually the Old Testament standard under the law. The New Testament standard is the amount that is on your heart to give.
  
  I recently lost my job. So my income is negative - relative to my bills. I wrote on my pledge card THEY should pledge to me $300 to cover 10% of my bills.
  
  Where is their heart at when they send unsolicited requests for donations from people with no income?
